About Me
I am an indie app developer based in West London, UK. By trade, I am a professional watch restorer (www.margoliswatch.co.uk).
I have a small workshop where I breathe new life into vintage and antique timepieces. But my brain works a little differently than most. I am dyslexic, autistic, and have ADHD. While this gives me a unique outlook on the world, it also means I struggle with traditional organisation.
I rely heavily on technology to get me through the day. And when the tool I need doesn't exist, I build it from scratch.

Nyblit's Story
The roots of Nyblit actually go back to 2004.

Back then, I was working in the film industry as a Visual Effects Compositor. I was juggling dozens of complex shots at once and needed a way to track them. I loved the logic of the Kanban method, but found the boards too cluttered visually.

The turning point came while I was working on film production and I saw the VFX editors using FileMaker to manage their workflows, and I was instantly hooked. I realized I could build the same kind of logic for my personal chaos.

That was the spark. My system graduated from pen and paper into a custom FileMaker tool I called "YoDo," which I developed and refined for years. Friends often encouraged me to turn it into a real app, but I hesitated. I didn't think my specific way of visualizing tasks would make sense to anyone else.

I was wrong. Since launching Nyblit, the response has been overwhelming. It turns out I wasn't the only one looking for a "state-based" way to work.
